Pilio Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Pilio iOS app published by Zoink Studio L.L.C. ("Zoink Studio", "we", "us"). It is specific to Pilio. Our other apps collect different things and have their own policies.

The short version

Pilio does not collect any data about you. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no servers of its own and no analytics. Every number you type stays on your phone.

1. What stays on your device

Your saved jobs, the material presets you edit or add, your truck-capacity and compaction settings, and whether you hold a Pilio Pro subscription are written to your device's own storage (NSUserDefaults on iOS). We cannot read any of it. It is included in your device backup if you back your device up, and it is deleted when you delete the app.

2. What leaves your device

One thing, and only when you open the Pilio Pro screen or buy or restore a subscription: Pilio asks Apple's App Store for the current subscription prices, and asks Apple to process a purchase or a restore. That conversation is between your device and Apple. We never see your Apple ID, your name, your payment card or your billing address, and Apple does not tell us who bought anything.

Pilio has no other network use. It does not phone home, it does not check for messages, and it works completely offline apart from the App Store request above.

3. What we do not do

• No analytics or usage tracking of any kind.
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No crash-reporting or telemetry SDK.
• No tracking of you across other companies' apps or websites.
• No selling or sharing of personal information, because we hold none.

4. Permissions

Pilio requests no runtime permissions. It does not use the camera, the microphone, your location, your contacts or your photo library.

5. Subscriptions

Pilio Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and the billing relationship; you can view, change or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. Pilio stores only a flag on your own device recording that the subscription unlocked the paid features.

6. Children

Pilio is a work tool and is not directed at children. Because it collects nothing from anyone, it collects nothing from children either.

7. Your rights

Laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete and export the personal information a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to hand over or erase. To remove everything Pilio has stored, delete the app from your device. 8. Changes

If Pilio ever starts collecting something, we will update this page and change the date at the top before the version that does so is released.
